A company known as SOLID SOLUTIONS DEVELOPMENT, LLC is wanting to come in and create another landfill in Haralson County. SOLID SOLUTIONS DEVELOPMENT, LLC  is partnered with Earnest Kauffman of GREEN GROUP HOLDINGS, LLC. 

This will be a landfill that will accept waste from within a 45 mile radius. Within that 45 miles are some major metro counties and 4 power plants that could potentially look to move their coal ash to the landfill. Haralson County's river, lake and underground water system is at risk, which in turn would negatively affect citizens, livestock and our eco system. We do not need contaminated water!

Beyond the hazards, we will also be stuck with the easily recognizable odor of garbage, that will be a stench in the noses of our citizens within a 10 mile radius.

There may be talk of money and financial "benefits" to this deal, but the citizens of Haralson County are not ready to risk our health and well-being for any amount of money! A price can't be put on the health of this and our future generations.

NO NEW LANDFILL!
