Maintain Off-Leash Privileges at Our Englewood Parks!
Maintain Off-Leash Privileges at Our Englewood Parks!
Why this petition matters
Fellow Englewood Residents and Dog Owners,
The Englewood Parks & Recreation Commission is proposing to City Council that the following parks lose their off-leash privileges:
- Centennial Park
- Duncan Park
- Jason Park
As a community that benefits so much from these shared spaces, we cannot afford to let this happen. Englewood Unleashed is calling on you to make your voices heard!
Our off-leash parks are a fantastic resource for dog owners to let their dogs run free, socialize with other dogs, and get the exercise they need to stay healthy. Our off-leash parks are a foundation of our community, where we meet our neighbors, make new friends, and share locally relevant news. Our off-leash parks are an intrinsic part of our lives as Englewood residents, and we can't let them be taken away.
If you enjoy visiting these parks with your furry friends, please sign our petition to oppose the recommendation from the Parks and Recreation Commission. We need to let City Council know how we feel about our parks!
Additionally, below you'll find helpful resources and actions you can take to get informed and make your voice heard:
