昨年末に白血病(確定)と、FIPの可能性がある保護猫君に出会いましたが、治療する間もなく逝ってしまいました。

それ以来、FIPの子が気になり、クラウドファンディングやツイッターなどを見ていると
①FIPの子が予想以上に多い
②クライドファンディングを行なっている方が「飼うと決めた仔の治療費をお願いして申し訳ない」と気にされている事が多い

その理由として
治療費詐欺のクラウドファンディングも存在していたり、治療費のクラウドファンディングに反対する方もいる(ペットを飼う責任問題)

③資金が調達できずに、治療を諦めざる得なくなり、愛猫を失ってしまった飼い主様もいらっしゃる

そういった現実を見て、何か出来る事はないかと思い『FIP治療薬が、みんなが使いやすい価格になるように、環境改善を求める活動をしよう』と思い、このキャンペーンを立ち上げました。

『薬で助かる命なら、お金があれば助かる命なら助けたい！』
もし、自分の家族が病気になったら…私はそう思います。

 

子猫で100万円前後・成猫になれば300万円前後の治療費が必要なのは、異様です。
高すぎて、お金によって命が左右されてしまう現状はおかしい。

クラウドファンディングに批判的な方から、心ないと受け取れる言葉を受けながらでなければ、治療できない現状はおかしい。

猫と暮らす方にとっては、愛猫は家族です。

COVID1によって、クラウドファンディング が流行り、少し前よりは資金調達をしやすくなったもの、支援する側にも出来る範囲か決まっており、資金調達しにくくなる日もまたやってくるはずです。

資金調達が難しくなった未来は、薬の購入を諦めなくてはならない飼い主様が増え、助かる可能性のあった沢山の仔達が、命を落としてしまう事になるのではないでしょうか。

現在FIP治療の方だけでなく、猫を飼っている方・これから猫を迎えようと思っている方、猫好きの全ての方にとって、他人事ではないと思うのです。

今現在で、一番効果が高いと言われている治療薬でも、投薬中に亡くなってしまったり、再発してしまう場合もあり、もっと研究が進まねばならないようにも思います。
各分野の方に動いて頂き、一般的な費用で治療が出来るようになるには、もっともっとたくさんの方の声が必要です。
