Dashboard is part of my daily life. Even though it's not cutting-edge, the option to enable, if so desired, was nice in Mojave.

Some people, like myself, have been using this for our daily lives since it was released in 2005. 

It's lightweight and shouldn't have any major impact on any OS. Don't remove it, for the love of Steve.
