Why this petition matters
Started by Chenayi Zimbabweyauya
With citizens of Zimbabwe readying to go for a protest march we are concerned by the way the government has deployed the army against the citizens with a shoot to kill instruction. Unarmed citizens have been shot dead in broad daylight by soldiers using live ammunition. To #UnitedNations pls promise us that you are ready to deploy peacekeepers who will protect the citizens. To the UK parliament pls engage your peers in the world to send a clear message to Mnangagwa that this will not be accepted. This week we have already seen human rights lawyers being abducted and beaten by suspected gvt agents ... This Must Stop every citizen has a right to protest even in Zimbabwe
