Greetings in the name of scouting.

First the Gambia Scout Association under the current executive committee has really witnessed so many rhetoric in terms of misleading information on so many issues, at this point we feel it’s important as far as internal democracy and the franchise of the scouts to vote and be voted for has been compromised due to the overstay of the executive committee. This is a concern that brought some of the challenges we have been encountering with the current National Executive Committee just in the name of calling for Annual General Meeting (AGM) to avoid the association integrity being compromised or returning to crisis again.

The entire scouter are calling on the right authority to step in and urge the current executive committee to call for an AGM before the end of July 2021.
