Why this petition matters

Started by Tint Man

The Ohio window tint law states that lighter tint is required on the driver and passenger windows for Police officers safety during a traffic stop in Ohio but the law doesnt protect the safety of travelers and law abiding citizens to just want a little more privacy and glare reduction during daily commute.  I believe with our joined support those who pass these laws should understand not only why we all enjoy darker tinted windows but the benefits of it. And since this law is only for the safety of police during a traffic stop the law should be updated so that if you have tinted window you should roll all your windows down during a traffic stop of the police officers safety or face more severe penalties.  In Ohio if you are not using window tint to commit a crime we should be aloud to choose how dark we want our windows period. With the way the world is today there is so many more law abiding citizens and law enforcement that just plainly like darker tinted windows so they can travel in privacy.  Please help me join this petition sign and share with everyone you know and help make these laws change and updated. To often good people are given a window tint ticket for haing illegal window tint when all they are wanting is to feel safe in their vehicles while traveling!
