STYX has had a career spanning over 45 years. They were the first band to have 4 consecutive albums go platinum. Not even the Beatles accomplished this, in fact, no other band in Rock history has ever accomplished this.

Their success came without the help of mainstream radio. Their music was played mostly on AOR (album oriented rock) stations. Their career was largely ignored by the music press and the power of their music and the strength of their live shows and constant touring brought them the success they have achieved.

With their first album being released in 1974, they are more than eligible for induction into the Hall of Fame.  They were an integral art of the arena rock genre- bands who were so huge that they continually sold out large stadiums year after year.

Styx continues to tour after a 45 year career, and we, their fans, want to see them inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They more than deserve it.
