I know there have been talks about Robert Pattinson replacing Ben Affleck as Batman. But if things don't work out, I have an alternative proposal. Ryan Reynolds as Batman. An unorthodox choice, most certainly, but let me explain my reasoning. It wouldn't be the first time the DC Extended Universe has used actors that also starred in Green Lantern (Temuera Morrison, who played Abin Sur in Green Lantern, played Aquaman's dad in Aquaman, and Mark Strong, who played Sinestro in Green Lantern, played Dr Sivana in Shazam) and Ryan Reynolds does have a slight resemblance to Ben Affleck (to the point that my mum has mixed the two of them up at one point). Also, as one scene from Green Lantern shows, Ryan can do a gruff and deep sounding voice, you know, the kind Ben Affleck's Batman has (here's the clip of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lP8EYYjPEmc). After all, if you want to make any sequels rather than prequels involving Bats, it's best to have someone that looks and sounds like Ben Affleck's Batman (even if that someone has starred in a movie that took a few pot shots at the DCEU).
