Why this petition matters

Don't let those who need help with school down. Money doesn't grow on trees, especially for college students. Everyone knows college is expensive. This is why we have financial aid. However, financial aid isn't always fair. Not only is it hard to get, it's very restricted. If a student wants to transfer to another school, they had better hope that school doesn't require extra classes from the previous school. If it does, they are basically on their own, Financial aid won't pay for extra hours outside of graduation requirements. For students with no extra income, this is especially problematic. We can get thrown out of class because we want to make our lives better. How can you expect us to pay for this kind of thing when we can't get the education needed to keep a good job? I've recently fallen victim to this unfair rule, and I'm struggling. This needs to be changed now! Please change the financial aid rules to allow approximately twelve to fifteen extra credit hours outside of graduation requirements in case they are needed. The students are depending on you.
