We want to make an approved connection between the popular local Mascoma River Greenway Rail Trail and the Nature Walk Trailhead accessing the popular and extensive multi-use trails of Landmark Tract (commonly known as Boston Lot). 

We respectfully request the City of Lebanon Board of Cemetery Trustees approve the option indicated by the blue line in the map above. This option would make use of an existing paved route through the Valley Cemetery, requiring a short new connector path to the rail trail. 

The red line on the map above indicates a herd path that has been established and used, due to lack of any official connection between these two popular multi-use paths. This path crosses several graves, and is not what anyone wants, including those who have used it.
