Elihu Yale owned black slaves. He's very clearly a racist. We should no longer honor slave owners. Our fine institutions of education should not be named to honor racists. It's beyond the pale that in 2020 we still have universities and schools named after such abhorrent bigots. 

Such a privileged institution as Yale needs to be checked for it's it' privilege. This cannot be permitted to continue. We need change in America and we must stop honoring those horrible people who came before us. Sign this petition and show the world, no matter what the status of the institution, no matter where the racial injustice hides, we will find you and we will demand change. We will not stop until our demands are met.
