Recently, I have been noticing that we need to take the consumer more into account when it comes to profit planning. Can the economy support this? Are we able to reach the most people doing this? Is our company planning too much around the profit from this practice and will that hold up in the future?

I can answer some of these questions already. No, the way that Bethesda has built their games around in-game transactions is not a good long term profit stream. The way the economy is currently going in the US especially. People have less money to spend on items that are considered luxury like video games.

This petition is to try to point this out to Bethesda and to encourage them to at least put into place one way of helping the player base that continues to support the company by buying their products. They need to make it so that what you buy or earn in-game on one platform is available on all platform versions of the same game as long as you log into your Bethesda.net account. There are a few different companies that already do this. Mojang is one of them. As long as you log into your Microsoft account you can access anything you buy on any platform within Minecraft. The makers of Pokemon Go, Niantic, has the same concept with some of their mobile titles that are on multiple platforms.

If those companies can do it and still show a profit for it I don't see why Bethesda can't do that for their titles. Specifically, any of their titles that use the Creation Club or an in-game store like the Atomic Shop in Fallout 76 should have this done. This would not only make the player base happy but would build more PR to sell more copies out there to new players. I know some people that would be more likely to buy from the Creation Club and Atomic Shop if this was done because then they wouldn't have to pay so much out in order to play on all platforms.

So please, If you would love it if Bethesda would do this and want to help support this petition to get them to at least listen please sign it and pass the word along!
