The Bear Pub in Noak Hill has been called this for what feels like forever, there used to be a bear there called Honey, as well as peacocks and Monkeys and many others. 

The Bear has been through many breweries, managers, renovations, staff and still it has a firm local following (even with the issues over the years). 

The community have been very vocal about the need to keep what is left of our small community and the Bear pub should remain the Bear after its renovation.  We have lost so much history in recent years, we are just trying to save a small part of it.
