Ohio's School Takeover law, House Bill 70, is unconstitutional and was introduced and passed 3 years ago in a matter of hours with no opportunity for the public to deliver opposition testimony. It strips virtually all power from the school superintendent and elected school board and places it with a state-appointed CEO.

We must remove this undemocratic law from our state. Please sign this online petition to preserve and invest in public education and to return local control back to the citizens of our communities. It can be signed by anyone who lives in the state of Ohio who is 18 or over. Signers do not have to be registered voters, because this is a petition of concern and not slated for a legal aspects.
