We need to make transition surgeries less expensive for transgender patients. There are transgender men and women all over the country without the funds to get transition surgery. We need to reduce the average cost of surgery from $140,450 (Female to Male) and $124,400 (Male to Female) to $10,000 for both. That’s my goal. People out in this world are killing themselves due to Gender Dysphoria (A mental disorder transgender people get from being in the wrong body or dressing in a way that makes them uncomfortable). People all over America would be much better off this way. It could save lives. Even if you don’t support the trans community, think of teenagers being tormented at school. Even adults are shamed. People don’t see them as men or women. Just as transgender people. That needs to change. As much as some people see this as a waste, I know it will make the world a better place.
