Last week in Cocoa, just a 20-minute drive from my house, two innocent and unarmed teenagers AJ Crooms, 16, and Sincere Pierce, 18, were shot and killed by police in their car which was FALSELY believed to be stolen. These were two teens, around our age, who were killed because a failed system which is rooted in racism and in white supremacy. Why aren’t we standing up for justice in our own backyard? Why are we just ignoring this when it’s happening right now right here! How are we not going to advocate for two teenagers in our community who were innocent?

In Cocoa, a couple hundred people gathered to protest which is truly amazing and Benjamin Crump is representing the families. Please share this because I haven’t been able to find much information and resources on it other than on a couple news channels. We NEED justice for AJ and Sincere, we DEMAND it.
