Why this petition matters

This Petition of the residents of NSW from Hoxton Park through to Luddenham and the surrounding area's of Liverpool brings to the attention of ANDREW CONSTANCE MINISTER FOR TRANSPORT AND ROADS the necessity to upgrade Fifteenth Ave from Cowpasture Rd at Hoxton Park to the new Western Sydney Airport as a matter of urgency.

The undersigned petitioners ask the Legislative Assembly to instruct Transport for NSW to Fast Track the Funding to allow the upgrading of Fifteenth Ave to a multi lane major road that is required to cope with current and future traffic to the new developing areas around Austral and through to the new Western Sydney International Airport.

Fifteenth Ave has been identified to be upgraded through State Infrastructure Contributions as part of the "South West Growth Area" the undersigned Petitioners ask that SIC levies be allocated to this project.

Fifteenth Avenue is designated as the Smart Transit (FAST) Corridor to deliver a high quality public transport link between the Liverpool CBD and Western Sydney International Airport.

Fifteenth Ave is also the main transport route to the new Development Areas from Hoxton Park road and currently up to Austral and eventually up to the Western Sydney Airport.

Under the Western Sydney City Deal, the NSW Government has committed to a rapid bus connection between the Airport, the new Aerotropolis and Liverpool’s CBD in time for the airport’s opening in 2026.

The undersigned petitioners ask the NSW State Government to honour its commitment to provide and fund this vital piece of Infrastructure.
