In the wake of the Black Lives Matter Movement, Arkansans across the state made it blatantly apparent that #HateIsNotANaturalState through countless demonstrations over a period of weeks in support of the movement. 

Last year, AR House Rep. Charles Blake introduced a piece of legislation that would replace our outdated flag with something more reflective of our Arkansan Values and honor the Native American Tribes which occupied this land long before Europeans ever did.

The bill was stopped (8-5) in the AR House State Agencies and Government Affairs Committee before it ever hit the AR House or Senate floor.
