We are demanding that Texas provide temperature control for it's 150,000 prisoners and prison employees DYING and SUFFERING in triple degree heat! This is CLEARLY an 8th amendment violation of their human rights! Texas lawmakers do not allow A/C in the Scorching hot summer heat nor do they allow heat in the winter. This inhumane law has now left 23 Texas prisoners dead! Texas heat rises 10 PLUS degrees inside prison walls! They are BAKING human beings to DEATH!! The public, families & Inmates are desperate and specifically calling on the help of Mrs. Kim Kardashian West and all social and news media,to please help us end the deaths and this inhumane and barbaric treatment of human beings! Thousands of prisoners and employees suffer regularly in heat that has been recorded at highs and 'feels like' temperatures of 117°-149° degrees, this reported by the officials at the Hutchins unit on July 19th 2011. Imagine being in these temperatures? The death toll is now at 23, This number of human lives taken continues to rise year after year. How many more lives will be sacrificed?  We must fight for our prisoners, employees and their families. We are calling for  immediate action. Texas currently does not allow temperature control (A/C OR HEAT) in their prisons calling it a ''luxury.'' Here is one of the many problems with that..When thousands of inmates and prison employees are severely suffering, falling ill and dying due to the extreme heat. it is no longer a ''luxury,'' it is a proven necessity! This law has now cost 23 lives that will not be coming home to their saddened and grief stricken families. The majority of the population is completely unaware that the state of Texas refuses to provide temperature control as Prisoners attempt to sleep in puddles of their own sweat and wrap themselves in wet sheets in attempts to survive and keep their own body temperatures down! This is CRAZY and this is cruel and unusual punishment!!  We need media attention, we need someone who has a platform, we need someone who cares and sees our loved ones as more than just a prisoner, but as human beings. We need to spread awareness and get involved and take action on this extremely urgent matter.  Help us to make changes and provide humane treatment for our prisoners! This is torturous treatment and not just to the prisoners and employees themselves, but to all the many family members that love, have lost, and suffer daily with them. It is pure heartbreak to know the person you love is suffering and being tortured in this way. The lawsuits will not stop and the deaths will continue to rise. TDCJ has money in the budget to replace aging swine production facilities with 6 new climate-controlled modular barns, at a cost of $750,000, surely they could treat people better than pigs. Yes, the pigs have AC, but TX will not provide the same to our fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, husbands and wives behind bars? Something must be done NOW, before more lives are lost!  We need your help to make this happen. Help us to get THOUSANDS of prisoners and prison employees fair temperature conditions. We must end the suffering and save lives.
