Why this petition matters

Started by Faisal Imdad

The United Kingdom should ban and refuse entry to convicted criminal Nawaz Sharif, who is convicted in a corruption reference and under trial on a few other corruption references.

The United Kingdom should never allow any corrupt politician, especially the one who is already convicted and on a very controversial medical bail for 4 weeks to enter the United Kingdom for any reason.

Each year the UK spends billions on overseas development aid. In 2016, the UK spent £13.4 billion on overseas aid. Pakistan is in the top 10 countries that receive this aid. The UK shouldn’t provide a refuge for politicians who are wanted on corruption charges.
