Why this petition matters

The Point of this Petition:
This petition is quite late for it to take effect in Grand Theft Auto V, but we should all remember that a new Grand Theft Auto game is probably in the making, so this is still important - hopefully this petition can give Rockstar Games and their developers some sort of an idea of what the GTA community would like to see in future updates/DLCs to the current games or just a general change for the next games in the GTA series. This is why I am bringing this concept up.

Many players in the GTA community believe that Rockstar Games have not made the right choice when it came to deciding whether or not helicopters should be more flexible like they were in the previous games in the GTA Series (in these games they were able to do some very decent flips and dodge missiles and such). Yes. I know, you may all be thinking that I am out of my mind and that helicopters are one of the most incapable vehicles in the world that would be able to do a flip - but how about I provide some proof?

Videos from YouTube showing proof of helicopters being able to perform stunts like barrel rolls & flips:

What the players in the GTA Community want Rockstar Games to do and why:
In a game where there are missiles that will never miss unless your vehicle’s turning and manoeuvring ability is faster and better than the missiles, you can basically kiss the helicopter goodbye. Rockstar Games did try and even things out and make stuff easier for helicopters to dodge missiles and get out of danger by adding countermeasures - but they are a joke because unless you and the attacker are synchronized with each-other, the flares will not register as something for the missile to hit instead of the helicopter, and thus result in a loud explosion and a wasted splash screen for the unfortunate pilot. Even if the pilot and the attacker are synchronized and such there still is a problem: some missiles in the game completely disregard flares, which leaves the pilot again in the same wasted splash screen. Then again, the game has chaff which jams the missiles lock-on signal and abilities giving the pilot time to get out of the area - but these have to be used before the attacker locks on to your vehicle, so you always have to be aware of your surroundings. There are some features in the game that can completely hide a player from the map, leaving the pilot in the blind, and so then again they are most likely thrown back into that wasted splash screen we all know and deeply love.

How exactly could this be fixed?
In Grand Theft Auto Online, almost every plane in the game can dodge the best missile in the game (then again this depends on many factors like synchronization, pilot skill and knowledge of the aircraft capabilities and such) but mainly because they are way more flexible and manoeuvrable than the helicopters in the game. Manoeuvrability is playing a large factor in the ability to dodge missiles and such in the game, Adding the ability to do a barrel roll and do flips like planes can in the game and like some helicopters can in the real world can play a large part when it comes to if the helicopter survives or if it ends up in a ball of flames crashing to the ground.

Here are a few suggestions I have come up with and gathered from players in the GTA Community

1. Add an option in the hangar workshop under Handling and add something like stunt handling to the helicopters in the game. This handling upgrade can change the Pitch-Stabilization feature and make the helicopter only stabilize when the rotors are at a certain degree, and when it exits that range the helicopter is completely free to manoeuvre. Or the upgrade can just completely remove Pitch-Stabilization as a whole from the helicopter and leave the player to have full control of how the helicopter flies.

2. Make the Pitch-Stabilization feature toggle-able, adding the toggle option in the interaction menu under vehicles, or maybe in the settings like how aim assist is and let the game match players according to their aim assist and vehicle handling preferences.

3. Remove the Pitch-Stabilization feature completely (This is a bit late to add and will make the players have to learn how to control helicopters again)
