In England children have NO automatic RIGHT to see their grandparents/extended family.   I know of grandparents who have been denied access because they are no longer willing to keep paying the parents debts.  Emotional abuse of children is so wrong and so damaging.  Particularly if the child had previously had a very happy, loving relationship with their grandparents.  They must feel abandoned and unloved by them.  Please help change this out dated law and help stamp out this type of EMOTIONAL ABUSE.                                                                                            Also, in this country at least one child is KILLED each week by their parent/step parent (NSPCC statistic). Without contact with their grandparent/extended family who will be looking out for their wellbeing/safety?  It is far too easy to isolate vulnerable children.  The worries/concerns of grandparents should be listened to and acted upon.  YOU have the ability to change this law by signing and sharing this petition.  Thank you.
