I want people to know that not all Asians are Chinese there are Japanese Korean Singaporean Malaysian etc. Last week, an 84 year old Thai man was murd3red in San Francisco, A 64 year old person Vietnamese grandmother was ass4ulted and robbed in San Jose , A 26 year old Yale graduate student was fatally sh0t and k!lled in New Haven, Asians toddlers were st@bed in a grocery store because of Covid and Asian women have been set on fire and thrown acid on. There’s been such a huge surge of attacks on Asian Americans and what’s even more upsetting is that people are using these cases as an excuse to promote anti-blackness. There’s already been such longstanding tensions and rac1al tr4uma between the Asian and Black communities, Instead of playing the blame game, we should be considering WHO benefits from silencing h4te cr1mes against asians and villainizing black people. WHO benefits from putting our groups against each other. We need unity, not division, to fight the oppressive forces that our communities face. These are not isolated incidents, since Covid, anti Asian h@te cr1mes have increased by **1900% and that is the direct result of sinophobic propaganda that the government had fed you.
