Who saves Project Blue Book?

History Channel has cancelled the show in May 2020 after two very successful seasons while moving away from scripted series. According to executive producers David O´Leary (creator) and Sean Jablonski (showrunner) as well as leading actor Michael Malarkey, known from The Vampire Diaries, who portrays 'Captain Michael Quinn' a third season is ready to go as it has already been fleshed out in 2020.

Project Blue Book has to be renewed given the cliffhanger ending to the second season. The creators, cast and crew desire to keep working on the show.

More than 35,000 fans from 151 countries have the following requests:

  • Clarify what exactly happened to Capt. Quinn
  • Dr. Hyneks journey to Antarctica, hoping to find Capt. Quinn, has to be concluded
  • Give us a solution for Williams part in all of the above
  • Susie Miller and her daughter have to be reunited
  • There has to be an answer on how General Harding deals with his inner conflict
  • Faye deserves a bigger part in the narrative
  • We want to know which declassified cases appear in season three

The efforts to save the show created savebluebook.com, an outstanding website which underlines the interest and dedication of the loyal fanbase! From now on you can follow the official Save Blue Book Campaign account @SaveBlueBookORG on Twitter.

Project Blue Book, which is based on true events, has been created by David O'Leary, starring Aidan Gillen (Game of Thrones), Michael Malarkey (The Vampire Diaries), Laura Mennell (Van Helsing), Ksenia Solo (Lost Girl), Michael Harney (Orange is the new black) and Neal McDonough (Band of Brothers, Desperate Housewives). The show´s executive producers are Robert Zemeckis, David O'Leary and Sean Jablonski

Winning the ASC Award for the episode "The Flatwoods Monster", the cinematographers of Project Blue Book were again nominated for two 2021 ASC Awards for episodes "Area 51" and "Operation Mainbrace" from season two.

With an average of 3.23 million viewers per episode on the first and 2.48 million viewers per episode on the second season the show has built up its loyal fanbase, especially in the United States. The series has aired in 165 countries and has become The X-Files of today's generation. Given the massively high ratings on IMDb and Amazon, as well as the public interest in the subject itself, it makes sense to continue the show from an economical view, especially when being backed from an effective marketing.

Please support Project Blue Book and the talented people involved creating this masterpiece by signing the petition.
