There have been two rounds of stimulus past within the past year. Billions of dollars have been given out in COVID-19 relief funds for millions of people and small businesses. However, there is a group of people who have gone unrepresented. This group is college students. These young people hold jobs, pay taxes, and work tirelessly to further their education. However, in most cases, the students are forced to file taxes as a dependent of their families because of the support given them by their families. Unfortunately, though, millions of college students pay for a lot of their own expenses during college. Though their families may pay for room and board, College students are forced to pay for medical expenses, transportation costs, food, clothing, and other expenses that may be out of their control. The American college student needs your help. We need stimulus. If we receive stimulus, we could help our families by paying just a little bit more of our expenses. These times have been so challenging for everyone, college students included.
