Kettering Conference Centre and Leisure Village which includes Balance Health clubs, Arena Sports and  Lighthouse Theatre is at risk of closure due to Compass Group trading as The Venues Collection are removing Themselves from the lease on the site.

This has come as  a shock to the community that surrounds the site with many aspects of site recording record years of sales but with Compass Group blaming increased operational costs for its closure

Around 85 employees, 3000 health club members, The National Volleyball centre  for the UK,  Local Sports Groups, British Judo Council, Local Theatre Groups, Dancing Schools, NHS Midwifery, Local personal trainers, Therapists, Town Council, youth groups, volunteers, religious groups, Local Businesses plus much much more! with an endless list of people that rely on the centre. As well as being a hub for local and national elections.

The site reaches not only to local people but national with people travelling from all over Europe to attend certain event sat site.

The loss of a community meeting place in which supports local businesses, societies, community groups and a hub on positive mental health and wellbeing and which brings millions to local economy is now looking at closure.

We now require North Northants Council or Management Company  to step in and  run this community asset and a consistently growing client base with a very viable business in which now has 30 days to closure date and urgent action is required to avoid losing this asset to not only local community but the entire country
