Some orthodontists are calling Dr. Mew's mewing method a scam and trying to revoke his dental license.

Correct tongue posture, aka "Mewing", is a real and effective technique that helps to prevent crooked teeth, sleep apnea and improves breathing ability and facial appearance. Countless people have benefited from mewing... Google it, you'll understand how popular it is. (Mewing 101 video)

For more than 50 years, Dr. John Mew and then his son, Dr. Mike Mew, have dedicated their entire careers to studying tongue posture. They continue to research and learn about the many health benefits of this tongue position concept famously nick-named "mewing". 

However, some orthodontists have attacked his method, claiming that there is not enough scientific evidence to support it. I mean, I get it, many  (many!) of the before-and-after photos from people all over the world showing positive results are most often not clinically supervised, but that is precisely why Dr. Mew needs to keep his license. So he can further study and prove the efficacy of his method.

Even if there are some flaws in his method that I don't understand as I'm not dentist, think about the positive impact he made on society. Countless faces have been saved thanks to his contribution. Wouldn't it too much to revoke his licence?

This legendary dentist is being unfairly criticized and attacked and is now facing a law-suit where he can lose his dental license to practice for life.
