Why this petition matters

Started by Anime Mentor.

There is no doubt that One Piece is among the greatest anime series of all time. The series has won millions of hearts, across the globe. Like the rest of the world, One Piece is also very popular in India. Unfortunately, though, we Indians are still unable to watch it on popular ott services as One Piece is NOT officially available in India.

There is no doubt about India's love for anime. Anime Community in India is very diverse and is growing rapidly since the pandemic. In India, many, are eager to discover the wonderful worlds of anime.

One of the most popular anime in India is Naruto. The majority of people watched it because it is on Netflix and Crunchyroll India. An Anime that was released in the Year 1999 and ended in 2017 is still close to many, while the easy accessibility keeps bringing in fresh fans increasing its popularity. Even Sony Yay has announced a regional Dub for India owing to the crazy fan following.

One of the Anime which even comes close to Naruto is One Piece. An Anime that started its journey at almost the same time. This Anime has the potential to shake the grounds for generations to come.

As the series is getting more and more popular worldwide, the unavailability in India is barring many future fans from watching it.

We One Piece fans hereby request Crunchyroll India and Toei Animation to make the anime available along with all the content that it has already launched in India. We OP fans desperately want to enjoy the latest one-piece episode every Sunday along with the rest of the world.

And if you think there are only a handful of us you are wrong. Here is a detailed article along with data to back our statement
