Why this petition matters

NO Parent should have to fear that EDUCATORS will assault their children at school! Parents are already fighting COVID at school.  Parents are already fighting active shooters at school.  Parents are already fighting financial strain, lower grades, and remote learning at school. The last thing Parents should have to fear is bullying, targeting, assault, or battery will come from the EDUCATORS themselves! Little Amaria was not safe at Airbase Elementary School in Miami-Dade County...from the Teacher that is.  And when the incident happened, little Amaria had already been REMOVED from this teacher's class due to the parent's complaints about her maltreatment of Amaria!  We want the Educator fired!  See what happened and the numbers to call below.  #Share #Call #Call #StopEDUCATORSfromAssaultingStudents

Little Amaria Clark is a 7-year-old second grader at Airbase Elementary School in Miami-Dade County. Mr. and Mrs. Clark adopted her from the medical foster system.  She still suffers from her medical conditions, including underweight, developmentally delayed.  She was previously on an IEP as early as pre-kindergarten , even requiring physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology (speech therapy). She's still under the care of physicians for her medical condition.  At the time of this incident her parents had already requested she be evaluated again for an IEP, and she had already been REMOVED from the teacher's class due to the parent's complaint about her treatment of little Amaria.

On this particular day on September 29, 2021, her PRIOR teacher decided to make unwarranted, unprovoked, surprise physical contact with little Amaria, approaching Amaria from behind and injuring Amaria with the teacher's intentional unwanted and non-justified contact with this little seven-year-old girl. The reason the teacher was Amaria's PRIOR teacher is that Mrs. Clark had just had Amaria REMOVED from this teacher's class a few weeks prior due to the teacher's ongoing harassment, bullying, and targeting of Amaria, especially regarding matters concerning Amaria's medical condition. So on this day while Amaria was physically in the process of boarding the bus home with her older sibling already on the bus, while Amaria was physically in the process of stepping on the second step already in the bus, this teacher swooped in from behind and grabbed little Amaria from behind by Amaria's left arm, jerking Amaria suddenly and swiftly off the bus, to all surprise, enormous fear, and sheer terror of Amaria, to accuse Amaria of stealing a cellphone, which of course Amaria didn't do.  Of course, the teacher didn't find nor look for a cellphone. That was just her false reason to make contact with Amaria who was no longer in her class.

Afterward, when Amaria made it to the bus stop and exited the bus guarding her am and still in pain, the kids told Mrs. Clark what occurred. Mrs. Clark immediately took Amaria to her pediatrician, who referred Amaria to more acute car for x-rays. As you can see on the picture above, the swelling was evident.

Little Amaria is in a new school now.  When asked what she liked best about her new school she replied "they let me go to the bathroom."

NO parents should have to worry about the safety of their children in school from the EDUCATORS themselves! Parents are already worried about COVID in school with their children. Parents are already worried about school shooters at school with their children. Parents are already worried about bullying, assault, and harassment from other students at school with their children. The LAST thing parents should have to worry about at school with their children is the EDUCATORS and ADMINISTRATORS assaulting their children!!!

Send a message that this conduct will not be tolerated. Take than less than 5 minutes to push the buttons to call these numbers below and demand #Justice4LittleAmaria

#StopEDUCATORSfromassaultingstudents

1) Call the Miami-Dade County School Board Dr. Steve Gallon, III, Vice Chair (305-995-1334)  and demand the teacher be fired for her actions against Little Amaria Clark at Airbase Elementary. They know who she is.

2) Call the Miami-Dade State Attorney Ms. Katherine Fernandez-Rundle (305-547-0100) and demand the educator be arrested for assault and battery and/or child abuse.

Or Next time it could be a child you know and love.

In the last month alone I've taken on multiple cases of EDUCATORS including ADMINISTRATORS assaulting students in school! From violently grabbing little kids from behind without warning to actually choking them.  All across this country there are wonderful Educators dedicating their LIVES to making this world a better place for children.  But for those who are targeting, harassing, bullying, discriminating, causing false arrest, assaulting, battering...This. Must. Stop.
