ሞዐ ተዋሕዶ

የሞዐ ተዋሕዶ ጥሪ ለኦርቶዶክሳዊያንና በማንኛውም የእምነት መሥመር  ውስጥ ለሚገኙ እና ለሰው ልጅ እኩልነት፣ በነፍስ የመኖር መብት፣ የዜግነት ክብር የማግኘት እና አምልኮተ እግዚአብሔርን በነፃነት የመፈጸም መብት ለምታምኑ ሁሉ፡- 

ጉዳዩ፡- የኦርቶዶክስ ተዋህዶ ክርስትናን  ማንነት (Cultural and religious identity) እና የኦርቶዶክስ ክርስቲያንን ዘር ማጥፋትን (Orthodox Christian Genocide ) ስለ መከላከል ፡-

የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋህዶ ቤተ ክርስቲያንን እንደ አንድ የሃይማኖት ሥርዓታዊ ተቋም ለማዳከምና ተከታዮቿ ክርስቲያኖችን ለማጥፋት ግልጽ ርእዮተ ዓለማዊ፣ ሥርዓታዊና መዋቅራዊ ጥቃት ከተጀመረበት ከ1966 ዓ.ም. እስከ ዛሬ ድረስ ጥቃቱ ቀጥሏል።  በአብዮት፣ በብሔር እኩልነት፣ በመንግሥት ለውጥ እና በጎሣ ግጭት ስም ተሸፍኖ  ሲካሄድ ቆይቶ በአሁኑ ጊዜ ወደ ግልጽ ጥቃት ተሸጋግሯል።  

በተለም ባለፉት 4 ዓመታት በቤኒሻንጉል ጉምዝ፣ በደቡብ ክልል፣ በኦሮሚያ ክልል፣ በአዲስ አባባ ከተማ፣ በአማራ ክልል ልዩ ዞኖች፣ በሶማሌ ክልል፣ በትግራይ ክልል አክሱም  ዳንግላት ማርያም ወዘተ ኦርቶዶክሳዊያን በሃይማኖታቸው ምክንያት ከፍተኛ ፍጅትና ጥቃት ተፈጽሞባቸዋል፣ አቢያተ ክርስቲያናት ተቃጥለዋል፣ ክርስቲያኖች ተፈናቅለው ተሰዳዋል። ኦርቶዶክሳዊንን ማግለል፣ መግደልና ሁለገብ ጥቃት ሥር ማዋል በግልጽ ቢካሄድም አጥፊዎች ሲቀጡ፣ የዜጎችን ደኅንነት መጠበቅ የሚገባው የመንግሥት መዋቅር ግዴታውን ከመወጣት ይልቅ ሲሸፋፍን ማየት የተለመደ  ሆኗል።  

ኦርቶዶክሳዊያንን በገዛ አገራቸው በዘር በቋንቋ እየከፋፈሉ፣ ድብቅ የዘር ፖለቲካ አጀንዳን ወደ ፖለቲካዊ ርእዮት በማሳደግ፣ በመደራጀት፣ በመዋቀርና አመራር በመሥጠት ኦርቶዶክሳውያንን የማጥፋት ሂደቱን ዝም ሊባል ከማይገባው ደረጃ ላይ ደርሷል።  

በመሆኑም የፌዴራል መንግሥት እና የክልል መንግሥታት እና መዋቅሮቻቸው  የዜጎችን ሰላምና ደኅንነት የኃላፊነታቸውን እንዲወጡ ግፊት ለማደርግ የተባበረ ድምጽ ማሰማት ጊዜ የሚሰጠው አይደለም። 

 እናም “እዚህ ላይ ይበቃል” ማለት ይገባል የምትሉ ሁላችሁ ኦርቶዶክስ ክርስቲያኖች እና በሰው ልጅ እኩልነትና ክብር የምታምኑ የሌላ እምነት ተከታዮች ሁሉ ይህን ፔትሽን በመፈረም ለእውነት፣ ለፍትሕ፣ ለሰብአዊነት እንድትቆሙ ጥሪያችንን እናቀርባለን። እውነትና ፍትሕ ለዘላለም ያሸንፋሉ!!!

አስቸኳይ የመንግሥት ምላሽ የሚፈልጉ የኦርቶዶክሳዊያን ጥያቄዎች
1.      በሕገመንግሥት፣ በፖለቲካ ማኒፌስቶ፣ በመደበኛ ትምህርት፣ በሚዲያና መሰል መንገዶች ኦርቶዶክሳዊ አስተምህሮንና ኦርቶዶክሳዊያንን ለጥቃት የሚያጋልጡ መልዕክቶች በአስቸኳይ በሕግ እንዲታገዱ::

2.     ኦርቶዶክሳዊያንን ለይቶ ከሥራ፣ ከመንግሥት ኃላፊነት፣ ከሀብት ማፍራት እድሎች የሚያገል ከቀበሌ እስከ ፌደራል የተዘረጋው ሃይማኖታዊ መንግሥትና መዋቅር በአስቸኳይ እንዲቆምና ሃይማኖታዊ ሳይሆን ሕዝባዊ መሆኑን በተግባር እንዲያረጋግጥ::

3.     ኦርቶዶክሳዊት ቤተ ክርስቲያንን በቋንቋና በተለያዩ ዘውጎች ለመከፋፈል የሚደረገው ፖለቲካዊ ጥረት በጥናትና በምርምር ስም የሚደረጉ የመከፋፈል ዘመቻዎች እና ተግባራት እንዲታደጉ::

4.     በኦርቶዶክሳዊያን ላይ ያነጣጠሩ የአካል፣ የሥነልቦና፣ የኢኮኖሚ፣ የማኀበራዊ፣ የፖለቲካ፣ የማፈናቀል፣ ከአገራዊ ተሳትፎ የመገለልና የፍጅት ጥቃቶች በአስቸኳይ እንዲቆሙ::

5.     እስከ አሁን የተፈጸሙ ጥቃቶች በዝርዝር ተገልጾ አጥፊዎች ለሕግ እንዲቀርቡ እና የተጎዱት እንዲካሱ::

6.     በመላው አገሪቱ የተፈናቀሉ ኦርቶዶክሳዊያን ወደ ቀደመ ቦታቸው እንዲመለሱ::

7.     “አዲሲቷ ኢትዮጵያ” በሚል ሽፋን ኦርቶዶክሳዊ አሻራዎችን የማጥፋት ፖለቲካዊ ሂደት በአስቸኳይ እንዲገታ እና በግልጽ ይቅርታ ተጠይቆ እርምት እንዲወሰድ::

Gaaffilee Ortodoksootaa hatattamaan deebii Mootummaa barbaadan!

1. Ergaalee fi qabiyyeen Heera mootummaa, ejjennoo siyaasa partilee, Barumsa idilee fi qabiyee midiyaalee keessaatti kalaqamuun Ortodoksootaa fi Barumsa Ortodoksii jibbaa fi balaa adda addaaf saaxilan hatattamaan seeraan akka dhorkaman.

2. Ortodoksoota adda baasee Carraa hojii kan dhorku, angoo itti gafatamummaa mootummaa keessatti akka gahee hin arganne, carraa qabeenya horachuutti akka hin fayyadamne kan taasisu, Caasaan mootummaa Amantaa sadarkaa federaalaa hanga gandaatti diriire hatattamaan dhaabbatee, Amantaa kan bu’uureffate osoo hin taane Ummata giddu gala kan godhate ta’uun isaa hojiin akka mul’atu.

3. Mana Kiristaana Ortodoksii Tawaahido Itophiyaa shira siyaasaatiin qooqaaniifi Sabaan diiguuf yaaliin taasifamu, akkasumas maqaa qorannoo sayinsiitiin shirriiwwan tokkummaa Mana Kiristaanaa diiguuf taasifaman akka dhorkaman.

4. Gochaaleen Ortodoksoota dimshaashaan ajjeesuu, qe’ee isaaniirraa buqqisuu, miiraan daraaruu, Mirgoota isaanii sarbuu, hirmaannaa Siyaasaa fi waltajiilee biyyoolessaa keessaa fo’u hatattamaan akka dhabbatan.

5. Yaakkawwan hanga Ammaatti Mana Kiristaanaa fi Ortodoksoota irratti rawwatamaniif yakkamtoonni seeratti akkaa dhiyaatan. Akkasumas midhamtoonni hundii fi kanneen qe’ee isaaniirraa buqa’an Beenyaa fi gumaa akka argatan.

6. Guutuu biyyatitti Ortodoksoonni qe’ee isaaniirraa buqa’an hatattamaan gara qe’ee isaanitti akka deebi’anii fi mirigi isaanii akka kabajamu.

7. Moqsa Itoophiyaa ishee haraa ijaarra jedhuun Ashaaraa fi Mallatoolee seenaa Ortodoksii balleesuuf adeemsi taasifamu hatattamaan akka dhaabbatuu fi shira ummatarratti jalqabame kanaaf ifaan dhiifamni akka gaafatamu. Gochaaleen badii rawwatamanis akka sirreeffaman.

Moa Tewahedo calls for Orthodox and all believers in all walks of life who believe in equality, the right to life, the right to citizenship, and the freedom to worship God.

Subject: Prevent the ongoing Cultural and Religious base Genocide on the Ethiopian Orthodox Christians under the cover-up of ethnic conflict.

Since its inception in 1966, it has been openly ideologically, systematically and structurally attacked to weaken the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church as a religious institution and to destroy its followers. The attacks continue to this day. It has been embroiled in controversy under the guise of revolution, ethnic equality, government change, and ethnic conflict.

Over the past four years, Orthodox Christians have been massacred in Benishangul-Gumz region, SNNPR region, Oromia region, Addis Ababa, special zones in Amhara region, Tigray Axum (Danglat Mariam), etc., because of their religion. While orthodox isolation, killings, and widespread violence are commonplace, the current federal and regional governments prefer to keep silent rather than fulfill their obligations.

The process of exterminating the Orthodox has reached a tipping point by dividing the Orthodox in their own country along racial and linguistic lines, promoting, organizing, structuring and giving a hidden racial political agenda to the political ideology.

Therefore, the time is over now and we should not allow the federal government and regional governments and their structures to attack the Church ideologically, systematically and structurally; We should not allow running politics at the cost of Orthodox Church and followers. Instead, we should enforce them to hear and listen the voice of Orthodox as well as respect the right, peace, and security of the Church followers. 

And we call on all Orthodox Christians who believe in "this is enough" and all other denominations who believe in human equality and dignity to sign this petition and stand up for truth, justice, and humanity.

Truth and justice will prevail forever!!!

 

Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church Questions Requiring an Immediate Response from the Government of Ethiopia

1.       Expressions and messages that are deliberately imbedded in the current Constitution, manifestos of different political parties including Prosperity Party, in the formal education curriculum, the media editorial polices and day to day message, development and cultural polices   should be stopped immediately.

2.       The current government practice deliberately excluding Orthodox Christians from equally participating in the state structure kebele (low level government structure) to the federal government (high level government structure),  denying employment opportunities, holding   government offices , displacing farmers and traders from their properties, narrowing opportunities for wealth creation, should be stopped immediately, and the current  theocratic state that alienates Orthodox Christians    should  transform itself in to popular and secular  government  that treat  every citizen of the nation equally. .

3.    The political effort to divide the Orthodox Church along the languages and  ethnic lines and the ongoing  campaigns and activities in the name of research and scholarship, political cadre training, media defamations  should be stopped immediately. 

4.    Immediate cessation of physical, psychological, economic, social, political, displacement, exclusion from socio-economic affaires and the ongoing genocide against the Orthodox. 

5.    Details of the attacks so far should be brought to justice, the perpetrators should be punished, and the injured should be compensated.

6.    Orthodox Christians who are displaced either deliberately and/or under the cover of ethnic conflict   should be returned to their original places to halt the politically motivated demographic change.

7.    Under the cover of "The New Ethiopia", the political process of eradicating orthodoxy should be stopped immediately and an apology should be made.
