Lake Juliana Estates is a gated community. It is advertised this way to potential buyers. As per the LJE HOA website the wording is... "This private, gated community is built around two large spring fed lakes, Lake Tennessee and Lake Juliana which are in Auburndale, Florida." And also on the Adams Website... "Lake Julianna Estates is a gated high-end community filled with luxury amenities, such as a pool, playground, gym, clubhouse, tennis court, basketball court, and even a private boat ramp!" 

This is not the reality. The gate is left open 10am to 6pm most days for other potential buyers. Since there is a gate box there is no reason for the gate to be left open for prospective buyers. They can call through the gate box to be buzzed in or make appointments with Adams Homes if they would like to view the community.

Part of the appeal for most of the homeowners is that is a GATED community. If you are a homeowner at Lake Juliana Estates and would like to see the gate remain closed 24 hours a day please sign this petition. Be sure to include your full name and home address. This petition will be sent to the management company and appropriate parties to show that, yes, we do want our gate closed.
