Since the military coup happened in Myanmar, civilians in the country have lost their human rights. The military junta has violated a lot of human rights.

The first violation is the right to freedom of thought, opinion, and expression. The second violation is the right to life. The military killed a lot of people just because they protested. Thirdly, the military breached the right to freedom from torture by torturing imprisoned political activists. The military also broke the right to privacy by checking our phones whenever we go out. The worst thing is that the military burned innocent civilians alive, burned down their houses, villages and towns, used air strikes and bombed people and civilians' properties, and even detained and killed underage children.

11,564 civilians have been arrested and 2,313 people have been killed just because they protested against the military (Grim data collected by the Media Monitoring Collective, MMC from February 2021 to January 2022). The number is still increasing and will keep increasing if the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) does not take action on these violations. Therefore, we support the 116 Myanmar CSOs in their open letter [http://shorturl.at/gmzT4] to UNHRC dated March 7, 2022 and call on the UNHRC to:

1. Explore all possible routes to seek accountability for Myanmar through the establishment of a jurisdiction for atrocity crimes mandated by the UN.

2. Recommend the UN Security Council to adopt a resolution referring the situation in Myanmar to the ICC.

3. Call on the ICC to accept the declaration lodged by the Myanmar government, the NUG, under Article 12(3) of the Rome Statute accepting the court's jurisdiction with reject to international crimes committed in Myanmar territory since 1 July 2002.

4. Support Ambassador Kyaw Moe Tun, appointed by NUG whose credential has been retained by the UNGA, to represent Myanmar of the HRC.

It's been a year that Burmese citizens have lost their human rights. For the UNHRC to take action, we must be united and create a social movement for the loss of human rights in Myanmar. မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှာ အာဏာသိမ်းခံရပြီးကတည်းက မြန်မာနိုင်သားတွေအ‌နေနဲ့ လူ့အခွင့်အရေးတွေကို ဆုံးရှုံးခဲ့ရပါတယ်။ စစ်အာဏာရှင်က လူ့အခွင့်အရေးချိုး‌ဖောက်မှုပေါင်းများစွာကိုလည်း ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ 

ပထမဦးဆုံးချိုးဖောက်ခဲ့တာကတော့ လွတ်လပ်စွာထုတ်ဖော်ပြောဆိုခွင့်ဖြစ်ပြီး ဒုတိယအနေ‌နဲ့ ပြည်သူလူထုရဲ့ အသက်ရှင်နေထိုင်နိုင်ခွင့်အပေါ် ချိုးဖောက်မှုတွေပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ စစ်တပ်ကသူတို့ကို ဆန့်ကျင်ဆန္ဒပြရုံနဲ့ လူပေါင်းများစွာကိုလည်း သတ်ဖြတ်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ဒါ့အပြင် ညှဉ်းပန်းနှိပ်စက်ခြင်းများမှ လွတ်မြောက်ပိုင်ခွင့်ကိုလည်း အဖမ်းဆီးခံထားရတဲ့ နိုင်ငံရေးအကျဉ်းသားများကို နှိပ်စက်ကာချိုးဖောက်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ စစ်တပ်က ပြည်သူလူထုရဲ့ ကိုယ်ရေးကိုယ်တာလုပ်ပိုင်ခွင့်နဲ့လွတ်လပ်ခွင့်တွေကိုလည်း ချိုးဖောက်နေတာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ အဆိုးဆုံးကတော့ စစ်ကောင်စီဟာ အပြစ်မဲ့ပြည်သူလူထုတွေကို အရှင်လတ်လတ်မီးရှိူ့ သတ်ဖြတ်တာတွေ၊ ပြည်သူလူထုတွေရဲ့ အိမ်တွေရွာတွေနဲ့ မြို့တွေကို မီးရှိူ့ဖျက်ဆီးတာတွေ၊ လေကြောင်းကိုအသုံးပြုပြီး ပြည်သူလူထုရဲ့ အသက်အိုးအိမ်စည်းစိမ်များကို ဖျက်ဆီးတာတွေနဲ့ အသက်မပြည့်သေးတဲ့ ကလေးငယ်တွေကိုဖမ်းဆီးသတ်ဖြတ်ခဲ့တာတွေ အထိပါလုပ်လာခဲ့ပါတယ်။ 

၂၀၂၁ ဖေဖော်ဝါရီမှ ၂၀၂၂ ဇန်နဝါရီလအထိ MMC မှကောက်ထားသော Data အရ စစ်တပ်က လက်ရှိအချိန်ထိ ပြည်သူ ၁၁,၅၆၄ ယောက်ကို ဖမ်းဆီးထားပါတယ်၊ ၂,၃၁၃ ယောက်ကို သတ်ဖြတ်ကျူးလွန်မှု‌တွေပြုလုပ် ထားပါတယ်။   ဒီနံပါတ်တွေက လက်ရှိလည်းဆက်တိုးနေပြီး ကုလသမဂ္ဂလူ့အခွင့်အရေးကောင်စီ (UNHRC) က ဒီပြဿနာအတွက် ဘာမှမလုပ်ဘူးဆိုရင် ပိုတိုးရုံပဲရှိပါတယ်။ ထို့ကြောင့် လူ့အခွင့်အရေးကောင်စီသို့ မတ်လ ၇ ရက် ၂၀၂၂ ရက်စွဲဖြင့်ပေးပို့သောာ အိတ်ဖွင့်ပေးစာ [https://rb.gy/kiau5i] တွင် မြန်မာပြည်တွင်းရှိ အရပ်ဘက်အဖွဲ့အစည်း ၁၁၆ ဖွဲ့မှာပူးပေါင်းပါဝင်ထားပြီး လူ့အခွင့်အရေးကောင်စီအား အောက်ပါ အချက်များကို အမြန်ဆုံးအကောင်အထည်ဖော်ဆောင်ရွက်ပေးရန်တို့ကို တောင်းဆိုပါတယ်။ 

၁။ ယုတ်မာရက်စက်သောရာဇဝတ်မှုများအတွက် ကုလသမဂ္ဂမှ အခွင့်အာဏာအပ်နှင်းထားသော တရားစီရင်ရေးကို တည်ထောင်ခြင်းဖြင့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအတွက် တရားမျှတမှု ရရှိရေး ဘက်ပေါင်းစုံက ဆောင်ရွက်ရန်

၂။ မြန်မာ့အရေး အခြေအနေများကို ICC သို့ ပို့နိုင်ရန်အတွက် ကုလသမဂ္ဂလုံခြုံရေးကောင်စီမှ ဆုံးဖြတ်ချက်တစ်ခု ချမှတ်ရေး အကြံပြုတိုက်တွန်းရန် 

၃။ ၂၀၀၂ ခုနှစ် ဇူလိုင်လ ၁ ရက်နေ့မှစ၍ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံပိုင်နက်အတွင်း ကျူးလွန်ခဲ့သော နိုင်ငံတကာ ရာဇ၀တ်မှုများနှင့်စပ်လျဉ်း၍ ICC တရားရုံး၏ စီရင်ပိုင်ခွင့်အာဏာကို လက်ခံခြင်းအားဖြင့် ရောမသဘောတူစာချုပ် အပိုဒ် ၁၂(၃) အရ မြန်မာအစိုးရ NUG မှ တင်သွင်းသော ကြေညာချက်ကို လက်ခံရေး ICC အား တောင်းဆိုရန် 

၄။ ကုလသမဂ္ဂအထွေထွေညီလာခံမှ ဆက်လက်အတည်ပြုထားသော NUG အစိုးရ၏ သံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးကျော်မိုးထွန်းကို လူ့အခွင့်အရေးကောင်စီတွင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံကို ကိုယ်စားပြုနိုင်ရေး  ပံ့ပိုးပေးရန်

UNHRCအနေနဲ့ ထိရောက်တဲ့ဆောင်ရွက်မှုတွေလုပ်ဆောင်လာစေဖို့ ကျွန်တော်တို့အနေနဲ့စည်းလုံးညီညွတ်စွာနဲ့ ဆုံးရှုံသွားတဲ့ လူ့အခွင့်အရေးတွေအတွက် လူထုလှုပ်ရှားမှုတစ်ရပ်ကို petition လက်မှတ်ထိုးပြီးတောင်းဆိုမှုတွေပြုလုက်ရပါမယ်။ ယခု petition ကတော့ လူထုလုပ်ရှားမှုကို စတင်ဖို့အတွက်အကောင်းဆုံး ပထမခြေလှမ်းပါပဲ။ ဒီလူထုလှုပ်ရှားမှုမှာ ပါ၀င်ဖို့အတွက် ကျေးဇူးပြုပြီးယခု petition မှာလက်မှတ်ထိုးပေးကြပါ။ ကျေးဇူးတင်ပါတယ်ခင်ဗျာ။
