Transport for London has taken objection to our beautiful decking in front of the restaurant. 

They are requiring us to attend a magistrates’ court & then intend to have the decking removed.

We have a licence for tables & chairs in front of the restaurant.

However, the pavement is so uneven & badly kept that it is dangerous & ugly. We took great care to make the decking accessible & not to restrict the pavement to passers-by.

We can’t see what harm the decking is causing and we feel that it has significantly improved the look, safety and overall ambience of this small parade of independent shops. 

So please sign the petition if you want to keep the deck!!
