Why this petition matters

Started by Ronni V

Fifteen months ago, a very generous developer, Guide_Dev, took on the challenge of creating a mod for Hearthstone, an online game by Blizzard, that would allow blind players to enjoy the game for the very first time. This mod was life changing for many, being one of the only mainstream games that blind players could play as an equal, with friends and strangers alike. Members of our community have also been successful in the competitive side--many regularly reaching legend ranks, participating in tournaments and even taken part in a theorycrafting event.

But maintaining the mod has not been a simple or easy task, and understandably, Guide_Dev couldn't be expected to keep up with this forever.

So as of November 4th, the last patch for this mod has been uploaded and the accessibility of the game will be ending unless either Blizzard or another developer takes this on. Please show your support in bringing attention to this--We don't want to lose access to this wonderful game and the communities surrounding it.

PS: An endless amount of thanks and gratitude to Guide_Dev for all you've done!
