I’ve lived here in Paul’s valley Oklahoma for 7 years. Only now that the city hall beautification committee was made is there problems. I have no problem mowing my grass and keeping it down, but when they come in as soon as it’s 12in and hand you a ticket with no chance of fixing the problem or redeeming yourself there’s clearly something wrong. 

This is a common thing among municipal courts making money off of code violations and not being honest, mainly targeting poor folks with no money for a lawyer. Also if you argue you all the sudden get a new ticket…

They must be held  accountable as public servants we shouldnt have to worry about going on a week vacation and coming back to a fine because our grass is “tall”, or be told firewood is trash, or be talked to like we work for them and not the other way around! 

I’m all for a more beautiful city who wouldn’t be? But there are clearly conflicts of interest, harassment and human rights being violated and that cannot be tolerated.
