Supporting the local area objective to delivery a high quality glamping facility as proposed and voted through in the Fingal Draft Development Plan on the High Amenity (HA) lands at Holmpatrick.

Under HA zoned lands the facilitating of glamping is permitted having regard to the environmental sensitivity of these lands.

Skerries currently has a significant deficit of accommodation and, as a coastal town with tourism economy, we are suffering as a result. With the expected delivery of the Fingal Coastal Way, the strain on our limited accommodation will become even more problematic.

We are seeking to demonstrate the broad public support from the people in Skerries for the delivery of high quality, sustainable glamping accommodation that is cognisant of the stunning site taking care to protect it's environmental significance.
