Why this petition matters

Started by Danny Angelo

We, the undersigned, call upon the United States government to take concrete action towards rectifying the deep-seated injustices that have plagued Black communities for generations. The legacy of slavery, Jim Crow laws, segregation, and systemic racism continues to reverberate through our society, impacting the lives of millions of African Americans.

In response to this legacy of injustice, we demand the establishment of a National Foundation for Black Healing. This foundation will serve as a crucial step towards addressing the psychological, emotional, and physiological effects of generational trauma and adverse health impacts experienced by 47 Million African Americans.

States like California, New York, Georgia, Illinois, and others have taken commendable steps by establishing Reparations Commissions. Now, it is time for the federal government to follow suit and take decisive action towards healing justice and redress.

We urge all citizens to support this cause by signing this petition and spreading awareness. Additionally, we encourage everyone to explore the insights provided in the book, "Reparations and Wholeness: A Path to Healing Justice," which offers a clear roadmap on how to make the National Foundation for Black Healing a reality.

Let us stand together in solidarity to pave the way for a more just and equitable future for all. Sign this petition to support the establishment of the National Foundation for Black Healing.
