Downtown Brigham City business and property owners need better city support to revitalize our historic district through a stronger, more formally recognized, and funded Main Street Program. We need to improve:

Visitor accommodation: Advertising, way finding, parking, and rest rooms

Beautification: Flowers, street cleaning, benches, and artwork

Safety: Traffic calming, pedestrian crossings, lights for off-street parking

Resources:  Higher priority on downtown events and activities

Alignment: Collaboration with city, county, BRAG, and State agencies

We have a Main Street Program, but the city has no legal authority, by code or ordinance to recognize and/or support us. We need City Council approval to make this change and city councils act on community engagement.

Please sign our petition so that the City Council can adopt a resolution to recognize our Main Street Program as a merchant led, city supported organization. This will make numerous resources available for you, the downtown business and property owners.

Historic Downtown Brigham City is a 501c(3) non-profit organization engaged in historic preservation and Main Street economic development. We will be better positioned to serve you through this change.
