In the name of Allah (God) who is called by many names, and who appeared in the person of Master Fard Muhammad. 

[Note to the reader: This isn't your typical petition. Just as in the days of Prophet Musa (Moses) who warned Pharoah, we do not expect the opposition to comply with our demand. What we do intend to do in the spirit of the historic Million Man March on Washington D.C. (of October 16th, 1995) is to display to the world the potential of our unity and inspire one another to continue moving forward forever (and backwards never) towards our perfection as a true representation of what Allah (God) intended for us all.]

We need 2 million signatures by February 26, 2023, or as soon as possible. This is an independent petition and Saviours’ Day gift. We believe that the Nation of Islam (NOI) and the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan have been falsely accused of hate speech and antisemitism by The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) and Anti-Defamation League (ADL). This has led to countless copycat listings and defamation of the character of Minister Farrakhan, The Nation of Islam and its members who are of the most law-abiding citizens of the USA. It's a general rule in Islam that practitioners must obey the laws which govern the land they live in. How did the NOI get labeled "Hate Group"? According to an article which was listed on NPR news's website and published (last updated) by WBUR Here and Now, on May 3rd, 2017 "The Nation of Islam recently made news after Kori Ali Muhammad shot three white men in Fresno, California, and made references on social media to language also used by the Nation." These articles don't specifically state what this man actually said in full context on social media, nor do they bare any proof that he was affiliated or actually a member of the Nation of Islam.  The Nation of Islam stands as a non-aggressive credit to the religion of Islam. The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad taught his followers, “I have even warned my followers never to be the aggressors, as the religion of Islam teaches us that we cannot teach peace and then be the first to break peace with carnal weapons. I know who the fight belongs to. It belongs to Allah (God)." - Message To the Blackman in America.

The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan has carried out that instruction as his National Representative. Taking the life of innocent people has absolutely nothing to do with the Nation of Islam! If one takes an aggressive pill that was stuffed in an apple and gives it to an innocent person who later dies, no one is going to blame the farmer who nurtured the apple and tell everyone not to patronize that farmer. Whoever does take that position, may do so out of envy (or other unbeknown factor), but couldn't out of the truth. We all were taught of Americas shameful past regarding slavery of so-called African American ancestors, and what happened to the land and population of the so-called Mexicans and Indians, but we can't blame the teachers and Board of Education for what this aggressor (slave masters) did can we? Would the ADL or SPLC dare charge the Board of Education for “leading the witness” who are the students at the public school system of America? As a former student of this educational system, I can bear witness that based upon what was taught to me in public schools, the Transatlantic Slave Trade was the worst crime against humanity whose effects still drenches our society in blood till this very day.

Further in fact, according to a New York Post article dated April 17, 2017, the shooter (aggressor) claimed to be a believer in Voodoo, as well as a Muslim.  The article reads: "Muhammad, who yelled “Allahu akbar,” or “God is great,” during his arrest, told investigators that he’s both a Muslim and believer in voodoo, Fresno police chief Jerry Dyer said." The belief in or practice of Voodoo isn't found in the doctrines printed or published by the Nation of Islam. This isn't to say that Voodoo was the culprit either, for we don't have knowledge of all that the aggressor was taught, or believed in. Photos of the shooter (which are in this specific article and all others we found) aren't consistent with the uniformity as presented by members of the Nation of Islam who are clean shaving, wear bowties, and business suits.  According to these articles and others, the alleged shooter never mentioned that he was a follower of Minister Louis Farrakhan, or member of the Nation of Islam. He is pictured wearing a turban, African Dashiki, has dreadlocks and a beard (goatee).  It is safe to say that The SPLC and The ADL picked out of this aggressor’s profile what would fit their brush that they used to paint over the sparklingly prodigious image of the Nation of Islam. 

Such Hate Group listings as represented by The SPLC and The ADL in our opinion should fall and break into pieces under the "Fake News" umbrella. They not only make it more difficult for the Nation of Islam to function equally on behalf of the communities they serve out of a deep love and admiration, but it also helps to increase crime. For example, the Nation of Islam led security forces which prevented crime and saved plummeting neighborhoods during the 1990's were met with these false claims which caused the canceling of contracts which severely hindered progress.  Crime returned to the neighborhoods as a result. The people today need additional security which they can depend on more than ever.  Crime is rising at an alarming rate; our country's local police forces are failing to maintain peace and need more help. More of us are receiving Amber Alerts more than personal phone calls to our cell phones. To make matters worse, an April 27, 2021, an article found in The Police Tribune written by Sandy Malone entitled "More Than 5,300 Cops Left NYPD In 2020, Exodus Continuing In 2021" revealed the following, "The data showed that 2,600 officers resigned from the police department and 2,746 filed for retirement, bringing the grand total of NYPD off the streets in 2020 to 5,346." That represents a "75 percent jump in officer retirements and resignations in 2020 compared to one year earlier." This trend is continuing till this very moment as apparently weakened gun laws contributing to spikes in crime throughout the country. For example, some states have recently passed into law, that anyone who hasn't a felony may carry on their person concealed, and loaded firearms without any training, or license.  And on October 29, 2022, Eyewitness News reporter Kristie Thorton reported the following in an article entitled "NYPD officers quitting in record numbers amid growing issue over New York City crime". She wrote, "More than 1,400 NYPD officers have quit their jobs this year, according to the NYPD's Police Benevolent Association... The number of officers who quit the force has been rising steadily since 2019, according to the Police Pension Fund, and nearly doubled between 2020 and 2021 with 465 officers quitting in 2020 and 888 quitting in 2021. So far this year, 1,426 officers have quit - four times as many compared to 2015." Eyewitness News's On Your Side also reported the 7 major crimes in New York City have all spiked at an alarming 31% this year (2022). This rash is critically affecting the entire nation as Omar Villafranca of CBS News reported on November 26, 2022 the following statement, "The number of new officer hirings was down 3.9% in 2021 compared to 2019, according to a national survey earlier this year from the Police Executive Research Forum. The survey found that there were 23.6% more retirements among law enforcement in 2021 compared to 2019. There were also 42.7% more resignations among law enforcement in 2021 compared to 2019 as well. The uptick in retirements and resignations were driven in party by low pay, the survey determined."

The citizens of America are praying and wishing for a solution which we all deserve. The Nation of Islam has a track record of success that proves they can provide more than adequate assistance in the field of security and housing crime prevention. For example, on Monday, October 16th, 1995, over 2 million Black Men attended the Million Man March which was held at the Capital Building in Washington D.C. Several security agencies including Capital Police and the Nation of Islam's Fruit of Islam worked together to secure the area with the Fruit of Islam at the helm. Not one incident of crime was reported. Patrice Gaines-Carter of the Washington Post reported in an article dated, September 18, 1988, "Since the Fruit of Islam, the Muslim group's security team, began patrolling, the dealers have moved out. Now the figures darting around the shade trees in the courtyards are children playing games." Your signing of this petition may also help to bring back NOI Security where they are most needed while helping to right this wrongful condemnation, and deliberate defamation of the character of the Nation of Islam.

And lastly, regarding the false claim of antisemitism, by definition, according to the commonly accepted and world-renowned Webster Dictionary, the definition of the word "Semite" is:

1 a: a member of any of a number of peoples of ancient southwestern Asia including the Akkadians, Phoenicians, Hebrews, and Arabs
b: a descendant of these peoples
2 : a member of a modern people speaking a Semitic language

And the definition of the word "Semitic" is:

1: of, relating to, or constituting a subfamily of the Afro-Asiatic language family that includes Hebrew, Aramaic, Arabic, and Amharic
2: of, relating to, or characteristic of the Semites
3: JEWISH

To call the Nation of Islam or the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan "anti-Semitic" in truth would mean that they are suicidal, being that they are of the "Afro-Asiatic" persuasion, who are also descendants of Israel. The Nation of Islam publishes a book which its members are also encouraged to memorize to heart entitled, "The Supreme Wisdom Lessons by Master Fard Muhammad..." which is issued to only registered Muslims of the Nation of Islam. The first question and answer of the Student Enrollment section of that book reads, "Who is the original man? Ans: The Asiatic Blackman..." This is a doctrine of pro-life and encourages Black People to study historical contributions of our people to humanity. Archeologists of today have proven through their discoveries that the first humans were black people, thus "The Original Man".

In more good news: Today, Nation of Islam members continue to be effective members of society. They are scientists, doctors, lawyers, home schoolers, electricians, plumbers, motivational speakers, firemen/women and provide services in every field of endeavor. They even help train police officers in order to help to combat racial profiling which often ends in injury, wrongful imprisonment, and even death for innocent people. This represents just a few examples of what great value sits at the table when the Nation of Islam is given its just due respect.

It's our hope that the effects of our petition serve as an example and reflection of the rainbow of love that pours out from the heart of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan towards humanity.
