With the governments of various hues in lockstep over the foolhardy idea of simply handing all National Park land in NSW to the Indigenous, then paying them rent for the general public to use them, and closing completely some areas to suit religious ideas - this entire issue should be put to a plebiscite of all the people NOW!

If anyone imagines this would be the end of all the activism and threats of violence, they are being foolish.  This will lead to further and escalating demands for greater and greater closure to everyone else of OUR national parks held in trust for us by government, and will inevitably lead to more and more activism and appropriation of what they consider 'their' land.  I can foresee that will not end well.

Such a concept is clearly racist, Apartheidist, a vile abrogation of the right of every Australian to simply use their own National Parks, and enjoy the 'spirituality' inherent for ALL in the use of certain areas - such as Mt Warning at sunrise - and is nothing but an extension of the politics of division and policies of exclusion that have been the hallmark of governments of every hue since the 1980's now.

It is also a clear example of the despotism inherent in governments and public servants being allowed to make decisions without reference to the majority stakeholders, and impose those decisions at their whim.
