My high school "Bonita Vista" is going to have our graduation held at Hilltop high school. With this arrangement, each senior will only be able to bring four to six guests max to the ceremony meaning grandparents, cousins, and friends cannot attend because they exceed the guest count. This needs to be changed as I have been told by teachers and staff that Southwestern College is open to having us graduate on their football field, where I've seen one of my brothers graduate four years prior. With SWC available we can have the important people in our lives watch a new chapter in our lives unfold, and we can actually enjoy our graduation together as the class of '22. That is why it is important to sign this petition to show the Sweetwater Union High School District we won't stand for this, and to apply pressure so they can plan out our Ceremony at SWC.
