We, the undersigned, call upon East Sussex County Council to introduce a 20mph speed limit across Crowborough where people live, work, shop, learn and play.

Crowborough Town Council’s Climate Change Policy encourages the use of lower speed limits within the town to reduce carbon emissions and encourage cycling and walking.

20mph is becoming the default limit for our communities - over 28 million people now live in places where '20 is Plenty'. The latest data shows a 25% reduction in death and serious injury (TfL).

The surrounding towns of Tunbridge Wells, Uckfield and East Grinstead all have 20mph zones - let's join them for a better, safer Crowborough for everyone.
