Put our safety first! That's our message to Glasgow City Council as we call on them to Light The Way.

The local authority has made a lot of noise about progress on this issue over the last 12 months, but unfortunately women and other minority and vulnerable groups are facing yet another winter of being excluded from outdoor spaces due to inadequate lighting, compounded this year by the cost of living crisis, when more people will be trying to make use of active travel routes rather than relying on buses and taxis.

Radio Clyde is holding another demonstration in Kelvingrove Park on Thursday 1st December at 5.30pm and we're urging you to join us and add your name to our petition.
