ABOUT THIS PETITION

Hello there, my name is David Bomber. I am an inmate confined in the Virginia Dept. of Corrections, whom is serving a forty-one (41) year and sixty (60) day sentence for aggravated malicious wounding, second-degree murder, three (3) counts of assault & battery, as well as hit & run and reckless driving. If you would, please allow me a moment of your time so that I may explain why your support is desperately needed...

In 2011, I was convicted by a jury of aggravated malicious wounding and second-degree murder for the single stabbing of Larry Michael Worell II, a.k.a "Mike." Although I maintain to this day that I only stabbed Mike out of apprehension for my safety, at the same time I am still grief stricken over what happened - I can only imagine just how devastating that this has been for Mike's friends and family, as well as the impact that this has had on them. Further, I accept that the jury rejected my claim of self-defense, thus I am asking the Governor of Virginia to consider the following reasons why pardoning the aggravated malicious wounding is appropriate in this case:

- The aggravated malicious wounding is based on the same act as the second-degree murder.

The evidence in the record supports clemency.

- The jury never heard critical evidence that supported the defendant's apprehension for his safety, as well as other favorable evidence.

- The Petitioner has no other legal recourse.

- Clemency is appropriate in this case.

Additionally, I am also simultaneously filing an Absolute Pardon regarding the alleged "assaults," which I am basing on the following reasons:

- The testimony given in the alleged "assaults" is inconsistent and contradicted by the prosecution's own witnesses.

There is evidence that supports that the "assaults" were fabricated.

- There is evidence that the police suppressed location data.
