On January 3rd the Ontario Government, under Doug Ford, announced that effective January 5th they would be closing indoor sport and recreational fitness facilities including gyms, except for athletes training for the Olympics and Paralympics and select professional and elite amateur sport leagues. 

The problem is that the Ford Government does not deem the OUA/OCAA as "elite athletic organizations" despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

We need to get as many signatures from student-athletes, and those who support student-athletes on this petition as quickly as possible to let the Ford Government know that student-athletes have a voice, demand to be heard, and will not continue to be discriminated against.

The Canadian Student-Athlete Association is that voice.
