A basic version of my petition:

My name is Mouka Emmanuel, a resident of Nigeria, and I have been a victim of armed robberies and assassination attempts at my private premises on multiple occasions. I reported to Officer Duke Amerika on February 12, 2022, through an invitation to my premises. I was attacked in same Premises on April 19, 2022. I was arrested while reporting the crime against me at Agbor Police Command, Delta State, and asked to state an accidental discharge occured which I refused. The individual Happy Uboh who broke in texted me that he was sick earlier that day before breaking in after business hours and asking for my help and forgiveness. While I was detained at Delta State Police Command Asaba, another attack against my premises occured. Officer Onyeama Nwaojigba and Blessing Edosa charged me for murder. They refused to receive my factual statement or investigate the attack that occured while in police custody. This situation has left me living in fear for my life. The response from the Nigeria Police Force has been far from satisfactory. They have not only failed to investigate these incidents properly but also falsified statements related to the cases.

This is not just about me; it's about every citizen's right to safety and justice. According to the CLEEN Foundation, 25% of Nigerians were victims of crime in 2019 (CLEEN Foundation National Crime Victimization Survey). Yet, many crimes remain uninvestigated due to inefficiencies within our police force.

We demand that the Nigeria Police Force issue an official apology for their mishandling of my case, including their falsification of statements. We also insist on a thorough investigation into all reported incidents at my premises.

By signing this petition, you are standing with me against injustice and calling for accountability within our law enforcement agencies.
