More about Palm Beach International Raceway, formerly known as Moroso Motorsports

With more than 100,000 spectators, Palm Beach Raceway opened in 1965 for its inaugural event and over the years, has been home to countless races, events, celebrations, famous drivers, and more. Often referred to as Moroso after Dick Moroso, owner of Moroso Racing Parts, who purchased the track and renamed it "Moroso Motorsports Park" in 1981. For nearly 15 years, Moroso hosted major national and regional events, including the "Super Chevy Show" which drew annually more than 100,000 spectators to Palm Beach County during the three-day event.

A destination is also known more broadly: MTV filmed a drag racing documentary on the track in 2002, and the Speed Channel has filmed episodes episode of “Pinks All Out” here, too. In 2008, a group of local motorsports enthusiasts purchased the park and brought back the track’s original name, Palm Beach International Raceway.

Today, our goal with your support is to save Palm Beach Raceway and support its transformation into an iconic venue, entertainment hub, community destination, and event location that would infuse tens of millions into our county in tourism and taxes, and provide more than 150 season and year-round jobs.
