Instant replay changes the DNA of football. Due to the inconsistent nature of it's implementation we think that it was unfair for high school athletes to play highschool football officiated traditionally then changed at the championship game to NFL and college type rules. No challenge flags were thrown during the coaches challenging, and it was within the last two minutes of the game. In which Destrehans coach challenged the catch causing a significant game stoppage. We need to get this Ruston vs Destrehan game presented to the review board and fight for our Bearcats. There are a host of other issues with the officiating of the game. That needs to be addressed to Improve the quality of highschool football.
