Save UNACC!

UNACC is a friendly lunch and social club for elderly people who are at risk of social isolation, loneliness and mobility problems. We provide exercises to keep bodies and minds healthy, nutritious meals with good company, advice, advocacy and prevention work to stop escalation of care needs.
Unfortunately the elected Conservative Mayor of Croydon Jason Perry has removed our statutory funding and without financial support we will have to close this lifeline for local older people, abandoning them to loneliness, depression and bad health. Without us to provide good food, activities to keep joints moving and prevent falls, a network of people who care, help and support, older people in Croydon will succumb to illness, poor mobility and mental health problems, multiplying the burden on the already struggling NHS exponentially.
